Digital Radiographs

X-Rays are a vital diagnostic tool and a necessity for root canal treatment. Digital X-Rays are taken in the same way that digital cameras take pictures and have many advantages over conventional X-Rays. Digital X-Rays use significantly less radiation than conventional radiographs and thus provide less exposure to the patient. Each image is captured instantaneously so there is no need to wait for development. The images can be viewed on the computer screen allowing the doctor to better describe and explain the patient’s diagnosis and treatment.
